"Where rock go, Mommy?" Baby Boy was trying to throw a rock he found on the sidewalk. (Hint: look behind his neck)

Sleeping in the hotel. There's the pillow barrier to keep him from rolling off, then Micky and Minnie, then Baby Boy, then the tiny sliver of bed I slept in.

One of the best parts of the house is Baby Boy now has a yard to play in! (Except for that whole tarantula part.)

We had fun at Nana and Granddad's house while we waited for our stuff to be delivered to Austin. Baby Boy had a blast with the water hose and taking the rocks on the table and throwing them into the water fountain in backyard.

One morning I was busy in the kitchen. I looked over and saw this small mess, and decided it wasn't a big deal, and I'd deal with it later.

Turns out Baby Boy LOVES pumpkin bread. On this particular morning, he requested it. Then once I had it in the oven, Baby Boy kissed the oven window, then sat down to wait for it to bake.

All 3 of us had colds around Halloween, so we decided to turn out lights out and go to bed early. Turns out, our neighborhood is a very popular place on Halloween. It took John 3x as long to wind his way through our neighborhood on his way home from work because of the swarms of trick or treaters. At the last minute we put Baby Boy in his raincoat and rain boots and headed out. I'm so glad we did because he had so much fun.

The next morning he immediately asked to have his shoes put on, grabbed his candy bucket (repurposed Elmo Easter basket), and asked to "tick o teat."

We now check the mail in our "mail truck."

We are having so much fun in Austin.  John really enjoys his new job, and Baby Boy and I are having so much fun with cousin play dates!  I think in the last 6 weeks, we have had more social events than we have the entire time we were in Seattle!  We’ve found a new Gymboree, and while it’s not the same as the one in Seattle, it is growing on me.
