We drove down to San Antonio a couple of weekends ago and met up with my parents. We had a fun weekend of swimming, Sea World, and visiting the Witte Museum where our good friend Liz works.
We drove down on a Friday afternoon. We arrived in time to check in and grab an early dinner with Nana and Granddad.
Ready for the swimming pool
Trying out the baby pool
Then we went to the big pool. I think he held on for dear life for the first 20 minutes we were in the water.
Eventually he just insisted I keep a tight hold on him while he splashed a bit.
Bright and early the next morning we headed to Sea World.
We were able to get in early for a very special breakfast
He was so excited to have breakfast with his Sesame Street friends

Then they brought out a microphone and much to our surprise, Ernie was able to get Baby Boy to sing “Rubber Ducky”
Goodbye hugs from Elmo
After breakfast we rode a few of the Sesame Street themed rides
Waiting for a show to start
After a big day at Sea World followed by more swimming, he had a rough time waking up Sunday morning.
We met my parents at the Menger Hotel in downtown for a delicious brunch.
After breakfast we met Liz at the Witte Museum
Playing dodge ball on the light up floor mat
They had 3 seats with different numbers of pulleys and ropes. The goal was to sit in a seat and try to pull your own weight upwards and see how the number of pulleys made a difference.
Baby Boy was getting some help from Liz while Mommy and Daddy competed to see who could pull themselves the highest.
Then we headed over to the indoor toddler playground. Here’s Baby Boy sliding down celery.

We had a lot of fun at the museum.
