I read a couple of books to Baby Boy everyday, or at least I try to. Somedays we have more time for it, and some days he has different plans for how our day will go. On the top of our stack is Tumford the Terrible about a naughty kitty who won’t apologize. Of course by the end of the story he learns the importance of apologizing, but throughout all of Tumford’s mischievousness (muddy footprints, spilled paint, broken dishes), his owners unconditionally love him. I like the message of the story and the cute rhymes it is told in while Baby Boy is intrigued by the brightly colored illustrations. Both of us are entertained by the book, so I consider it a hit!
